Although my past background in film and television may appear to contrast a calling to Marriage and Family Therapy, the challenges and environment in media actually hold many similarities. In media, the standard work setting involves large group dynamics with distinctive, and often emotionally-driven, personalities/situations.

From my past experiences I learned to communicate, set goals and mediate even with substantial distractions at play. I have enjoyed translating my media skills into my current career in Social Services.
